Lifestyle. + Size Mommy. Thick Dope Chick. Caramel Queen
Hey, Y’all, Hopefully, you missed me as much as I missed you. Check yes or no. Writing during quarantine was not as difficult as writing with 100 things going on. When I tell you I have been on Zoom for hours each day. Listen.. is there a degree or something that you can get from all these zoom hours? Somebody email Malcolm Gladwell and ask him what’s up. Pause (For those that missed the reference: Gladwell has a book called “Outliers” that talks about having 10,000 hours in a specific thing will make you an expert in that thing) I’m asking for myself because this has been something else. From this day forward, I feel like I should be able to place a “ZM” behind my professional name that stands for Zoom Master.
So in the midst of Zooming with the homies, I have also had to balance emotions and decide on my approach in offering my statement regarding “Black Lives Matter”. It’s been heavy yall. I have a four-year-old son who loves to read, jump, can already add…. you already know. He is on the blog often so you know how amazing I think he is. This is not a moment, it’s a movement and everyone with have their part to play. Based on inspiration from one of my favorite shows “Insecure” I am starting Self Care Saturday. This should help to put me in a creative space so don’t go anywhere! You don’t want to miss what’s next. Check in below and let me know how your doing.
Until next time………. Don’t forget to fill your cup.
